Practical Applications of the Spiral of Silence

1.  Be bold.  Choose to stand up and speak out!

 2.  In a situation where a political party may be trying to convince a person from another political party to vote a certain way. The person being targeted can choose to be quiet and yet still execute their same vote.  Thus, thwarting the fear of isolation from keeping them silent.

3.  The media can be manipulative.  Learn to be discerning and don't believe something just because the media tells you to.

4.  A salesman is taught that silence is the best way to pressure their buyer into making a decision.  Learn to use it to your advantage.

5.  Influence persuasive discussion when trying to make a point, by being silent.
